| As
we see from the picture on the right, God sacrificed his
only son to redeem us and bring us closer to him. Why can't
we sacrifice a minute in our day to pray and thank him.
Jesus is the link between God and us. Our job is to pray, to
follow his leading, and to trust him with the results,
whatever it may be.
We
sometimes tend to focus on the negatives rather than the
positive side of life. We murmur against the Lord when we
should actually be praising him. We let ourselves be
distracted by our disappointments that God allows for our
spiritual good.
Whenever we
are tempted to grumble, let's remember Numbers 11:1,
"When the people complained, it displeased the
LORD."
